Resonance: From Vibration to Technology
The history of resonance thinking from ancient civilisations to the digital age, the emergence of bioresonance, and a selection of published work on the subject.

From the first day it observed nature, humanity noticed that everything moves within a certain order and rhythm. The sound of the wind, the vibration of running water, the beat of the heart and the notes rising from musical instruments formed the earliest observations that the universe is built on motion and vibration.
Ancient Civilisations
Ancient civilisations developed cultural practices aimed at discovering the effects of vibration on people and their surroundings, using bells, gongs, stringed instruments and various ritual objects. In the temples of ancient Egypt, in Mesopotamia, in ancient Greece, in India and in China, sound was seen not only as a means of communication but as an important part of cultural and spiritual life.
In the 6th century BC, Pythagoras examined numerical ratios in music, investigated the relationship between sound frequencies and mathematics, and put forward the idea of "the harmony of the universe". This work is regarded as one of the early foundations of the science of acoustics.
It cannot be said, however, that these practices are the same as today's bioresonance technology.
The Birth of Modern Science
Through the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, work on sound, vibration and acoustics continued, and knowledge of music theory and mechanical vibration developed.
In the 17th and 18th centuries, scientists such as Galileo Galilei, Robert Hooke and Isaac Newton studied vibration, wave motion and mechanics, laying the foundations of modern physics.
In the 19th century Michael Faraday developed electromagnetic induction and James Clerk Maxwell the theory of the electromagnetic field; Heinrich Hertz then demonstrated the existence of electromagnetic waves experimentally. These developments formed the scientific basis of electromagnetic technologies.
Into the Digital Age
In the second half of the 20th century, as electronics, microprocessors and computer technologies developed, systems that generate and control frequency became far more precise. The move from analogue circuits to digital platforms made programmable electronic devices possible. Software-supported control systems brought complex signal management and modular device architectures.
The radio, television, mobile phones, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, MRI and wireless communication systems we use today are examples of technologies drawing on the principles of frequency and electromagnetic waves.
The Emergence of Bioresonance
In the 1970s in Germany, the MORA system developed by Dr Franz Morell and the engineer Erich Rasche was introduced as one of the first commercial systems in the field of bioresonance. Other manufacturers later developed their own bioresonance platforms, contributing to the diversification of technologies in this area.
